Jeremy Corbyn today warned that a nurses’ shortage could reach 40,000 posts if there is not a huge cash injection into the NHS.

The Labour leader promised that if he gets into No10 there would be an extra £37 billion over the next Parliament.

The Tories claim Labour’s economic plans would stop them finding the extra funds.
