Zoe Tapper, Downton Abbey’s Elizabeth McGovern and Felicity Jones, looked suitably merry at the premiere of their film Cheerful Weather for the Wedding at the Empire Leicester Square last night.

But absent from proceedings was the comedy’s leading man, Luke Treadaway, who had been held up in the Caribbean.

“It’s a tough life,” said director Donald Rice, apologising on the actor’s behalf. Luckily, Luke’s twin and fellow actor Harry Treadaway was there on his brother’s behalf. They look so alike that it would have been easy to pretend Luke wasn’t absent at all.
