Resolutions dissolve as the cocktails flow at the Mulberry Store

January might be the season of detoxes but there were few takers at last night’s London Collections: Men parties. Actor Nathan Stewart-Jarrett – who joined fellow thesp Callum Turner, as well as Net-a-Porter’s Natalie Massenet and Mulberry brand director Anne-Marie Verdin for cocktails at the Mulberry Store on New Bond Street — admitted he was meant to be having a dry month “but I messed up, and I’m so glad I did”.

By contrast, across town at the Esquire party at Holborn’s Rosewood Hotel, ex-Libertines frontman Carl Barât was a model of abstinence. “I’ve never done it before,” he told me, “but it’s going to triple my output in life.”
