Lord Faulks is set to return to the law

Hats off to Lord Faulks. The QC brother of novelist Sebastian Faulks is taking up a place in the Lords as justice department spokesman.

“I received a rather drole email from my opposite number, Labour’s Lord Beecham,” Faulks tells me. “He said he looked forward to my lucrative return to the law in May 2015, when Labour returns to its rightful place in government.”
