The death of L’Wren Scott has left friends of the fashion designer devastated by the loss of such a unique woman. “L’Wren was a total force of nature,” Sydney Finch, consultant and wife of brand bigwig Charles, told The Londoner. “Nobody knew how to make a woman look and feel more beautiful. When she sent you out the door and into the world you were looking your best.”
But, says Finch, despite her public brilliance it was L’Wren’s private virtues that really made her an exceptional friend. “Her boundless generosity, her wicked sense of humour, her unwavering loyalty and her elegance in word and deed. She kept her circle small, but she gave her trusted few so much. She had an uncanny instinct about her friends.”
