Keeping warm with the stars at Shoreditch

A glorious weekend heatwave may be on its way but last night at Shoreditch House it was still not quite the right weather for lounging by a rooftop pool. Still, the presence of David Beckham, there for his H&M swimwear launch, proved too tempting to resist.

We absorbed the minimal rays beside fashion editor Suzy Menkes but when a chill descended we offered a blanket. “No need for that, darling. I’ll leave that to you,” she said. “One Direction can keep us warm,” she added, as the boyband walked in.
