It turns out that Nigella is staying with documentary maker Olivia Lichtenstein on a girls’ getaway. Lichtenstein and Lawson had been joined at the hip before Nigella’s marriage to Charles Saatchi, when her social life became restricted. Also on the holiday are their two daughters, who are the same age.
The two families also spent Christmas together — Nigella cooked a big blowout for more than a dozen people at her rented Bayswater mews house. Good to hear she’s got her best friend and her mojo back.
