'Stand up William!': hilarious moment the Queen gives her grandson a ticking off at Trooping the Colour

The Queen was unimpressed with William bending down during the ceremony

It would seem even Prince William isn't above a scolding from the Queen.

Her Majesty was caught on video commanding the Prince to get to his feet during her birthday celebrations last week, and her grandson dutifully obliged.

The Royal Family appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the Trooping the Colour for the Queen's 90th.

But her majesty appeared to be unimpressed when William bent down to attend to Prince George.

Tapping her grandson on the shoulder, she scolded him, saying: “Stand up, William.”

William, a 33 year-old married father of two, immediately did as he was told, as Prince Harry could be seen chuckling in the background.

This year’s Trooping the Colour ceremony was the first for Princess Charlotte, who joined her older brother Prince George and the rest of the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony last Saturday.

The ceremony played host to 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses, and more than 400 musicians.

The event has been part of the monarch's birthday celebrations since the mid 1700s.
