NFL London: Stars descend on Bloomsbury Square for launch of American football event

Stars from the worlds of sport, music and entertainment descended on Bloomsbury Square for the launch of a new NFL experience in central London.

Olympian Greg Rutherford, boxer David Haye and footballer Deli Ali appeared at the launch party of NFL house – an interactive fan zone – last night.

Celebrities were treated to an intimate performance from grime star Kano in celebration of two NFL games set to take place at both Twickenham and Wembley stadiums later this month.

New York Giants legend and two-time Superbowl winner Osi Umenyiora and the LA Rams cheerleading squad also made an appearance.

The launch comes ahead of this Sunday’s historic New York Giants vs LA Rams fixture in south west London – the first ever American football match to be held at England’s home of rugby.

NFL House is open to the public until October 29 at Victoria House, Holborn.

The exhibition features all 50 Super Bowl Rings and the prestigious Vince Lombardi Trophy.
