Motorcyclist dies in smash with bus at busy junction in north London

A 30-year-old motorcyclist has died after being struck by a bus in north London.

Emergency services were called to the scene at the junction of Woodberry Grove and Seven Sisters Road, Manor House, at 7.20am this morning.

The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was treated on the roadside by the London Ambulance Service but was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.40am.

Police said next of kin have not been informed and there were no other injuries.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place.

There have been no arrests and officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating.

Road closures are currently in place between Seven Sisters Road and High Road.
