Friends of “a computer genius” allegedly shoved into the path of a Tube train at Kentish Town station have told of their shock.

Kamlesh Ramji, 40, was today in a “serious but stable” condition after suffering a possible fractured skull and serious chest and internal organ injuries.

A colleague said Mr Ramji, a business development manager at the London Computer Centre in Aldgate, was “a lovely person”, adding: “It’s a sad time for everyone at the company.”

Friend Abdul Choudhury, 40, said: “He’s a computer genius and such a good guy.”

Devindra Ferguson, 29, of Colindale, has been charged with attempted murder and was remanded in custody at Highbury corner magistrates’ court on Friday.
