Two men have been stabbed and a third attacked at a butcher's shop in north London.

Police were called to West Green Halal Meat and Groceries store in Tottenham at 9.35am on Sunday.

Photos posted on social media show a number of police cars and ambulances at the scene in West Green Road, and a cordon along the pavement.

Officers found two men, aged 29 and 40, suffering from stab injuries and a third man who had been assaulted.

The two stabbed men have been taken to hospital, but the third did not require medical attention.

The man aged 40 is reportedly in a stable condition, but police have not provided a full update on the second man who was stabbed.

No arrests have been made. Officers say they are still looking for any information regarding the incident.

A crime scene remains in place.
