Murder detectives are investigating after a teenager was stabbed to death on a housing estate in Wembley.

The male victim, 18, was stabbed at a property on Buddings Circle.

The London Ambulance service rushed to the scene at around 1.35pm on Saturday and called police.

Officers attended along with the London Air Ambulance but the victim was pronounced dead shortly before 2pm.

A post-mortem was carried out yesterday and gave the cause of death as stab wounds.

Police know the identity of the victim but formal identification awaits.

The victim's relatives have been informed.

A man, 19, was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of murder and is in custody at a north London police station.
