A London cab driver has been found guilty of assault and criminal damage after he punched a colleague in the face following a feud about football.

City of London magistrates’ court heard that Jimmy Andreou, 49, “stole” the spot where his former friend Charlie Kyriacou, 52, usually hung his banner at Spurs ground White Hart Lane.

After trading insults at Marble Arch Andreou, of Enfield, opened the other driver’s door and punched him in front of passengers, breaking five of his teeth. He will be sentenced on Tuesday.
