Police are investigating after a pregnant dog walker was attacked with a plastic ball launcher in a park.

The woman was walking two dogs in Millennium Green in Filton, Bristol, at around 4.30pm on April 12.

An argument broke out between the woman and another man in the park, who also had a dog with him.

"He grabbed her by the arms and hit her on the head with a plastic dog's ball launcher," an Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said.

"The woman was left with bruising."

Police have released an image of a man that may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone with information about the man in the picture or the incident is asked to contact the force on 101.
