Police want to speak to this man after a passenger was punched in two separate assaults which left him with a broken jaw.

The "bare-chested" attacker left the scene at Clapham Junction after the first assault, only to return to the scene moments later to punch his victim to the ground and break his jaw.

Detectives said the 26-year-old victim, from Hertfordshire, was set upon at around 1.45am on August 25 at the station's Brighton Yard entrance in St John's Hill.

Detective Constable Rachel Smith said: “The offender made off from the scene after the first assault, but then returned some time later and attacked the victim again by punching him to the ground and fracturing his jaw.

“The attacker then left the scene and made off this time into St Johns Hill.

“I am keen to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image as he may be able to help us in our investigation. I believe the attacker may have been bare-chested during one of the assaults. If you were in the area or witnessed the incident, please get in touch with BTP.”
