Police have charged a man with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 26-year-old in Peckham last month.

Yusuf Kallon, 19, of Marmont Road appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, charged with the murder of Rohan Trotman, 26.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing on 9.20pm on June 25 in Nunhead Green, near to the junction with Gordon Road, SE15.

Mr Trotman was found with multiple stab wounds and was taken to hospital by a member of the public. He unfortunately died in hospital at 9.30am the next morning.

Kallon was arrested on Thursday and has also been charged with two counts of robbery, possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis.
