Two men who repeatedly stabbed another man after they were thrown out of a house party have been jailed.

Jordan Rodney, 22, of Northolt and Ross Lasme, 22, of Greenford, left their victim with serious injuries following the knife attack in Boston Manor Road last July.

The men became embroiled in a row with the victim during a house party which led all three of them to be chucked out of the bash.

The argument triggered a vicious street fight in which a then 22-year-old man was stabbed several times.

Lasme was arrested hours later and gave a pre-prepared statement saying he didn't do it. He added Rodney would admit the attack when he was interviewed.

But Rodney, who was arrested the next day, gave a no comment interview when quizzed by officers.

During the trial, the men changed their defences and blamed the other one for stabbing the victim as they protested their innocence.

But jurors at Blackfriars Crown Court found Rodney guilty of attempted murder while Lasme was cleared of attempted murder but convicted on an alternate charge of GBH with intent.

The pair were sentenced at the court on Friday. Rodney was jailed for 16 years and Lasme received seven.

DC Shakti Banger, who led the investigation for Hounslow CID, said: "This was a complex case and as a result of detailed investigative work we have achieved the appropriate outcome.

"Violent crime will not be tolerated on the streets of Hounslow and these convictions show that through dedicated and tireless police work we will bring offenders to justice."
