Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a 60-year-old man was stabbed to death in south London.
Police were called at approximately 02.35am on Friday, December 1 to Marmora Road following reports of a stabbing.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service discovered a 60-year-old man with serious injuries. He died at the scene a short time later.
His next of kin have been informed. Formal identification is yet to take place but a post-mortem examination will be held soon. Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.
A 61-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody.
