A man has been charged with murder after a trainee gas engineer was shot dead outside a restaurant in Fulham.

Detectives charged Omar Hutson, 29, of no fixed address, on Saturday over the killing of 24-year-old Salim Coulter.

Mr Coulter was shot dead outside a jerk chicken restaurant in Walham Grove on Monday.

As well as the murder charge, Hutson was also accused of attempted murder of a 25-year-old man and possession of a firearm.

He was arrested in Wandsworth on Friday along with a 27-year-old woman.

She was released on bail until a date in January

Hutson is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court later on Saturday.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward and have urged anyone information to contact them on 020 8785 8099
