Two Londoners charged with creating fake Covid vaccine records

Police have charged two people over the alleged creation and sale of fake Covid vaccine records.

Wayne Knight, 37, of Ilford was charged with conspiracy to gain unauthorised access to computer material, contrary to section 1 of Criminal Attempts Act 1977.

Friha Farid, 28, of South Woodfood was also charged with the same count.

They are both due to attend Barkingside Magistrates’ Court Court on Wednesday, September 7.

The Crown Prosecution Service authorised detectives to charge the individuals following an investigation by the Met’s Cyber Crime team.
