Lady Gaga visits Julian Assange at embassy refuge

Lady Gaga visited WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorean embassy in Knightsbridge and reportedly spent five hours in his company, including dining with him.

Australian Mr Assange, 41, has been living at the embassy since June after going there to avoid extradition to Sweden, where he faces questioning over allegations of rape and sexual assault made by two women.

The pop star, 26, arrived at his refuge following her appearance at Harrods on Sunday night, where she launched her new perfume.
