This March, Disney’s live-action remake of the classic fairytale Cinderella – starring Lily James and Cate Blanchett – will be hitting London's big screens, and some of the world’s top shoe designers are joining in the excitement.
Nine designers including Jimmy Choo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Alexandre Birman and Charlotte Olympia have used their talents to reimagine the famous glass slipper Cinderella leaves behind at midnight.
Extravagant features such as diamonds, dazzling Swarovski crystals and glitter have captured the magic of the film, which is released in the UK on March 27.
Each pair invented by the designers will be available in iconic stores across the globe, including Harrods.
Designer shoes inspired by Cinderella's glass slipper
"Cinderella's glass slipper has become a magical symbol of transformation,” said Jonathan Symington from Disney.
"Each pair of shoes in this exciting global collection captures Cinderella's elegance and grace through the lens of celebrated designers, making this shoe collection truly fit for a princess."
The limited edition collection offers some major eye candy and will no doubt make every girl who gets her hands on a pair feel like a princess. Who needs a fairy godmother?
