Event of the week: Ralph Lauren & Vision Express party

All frames are crafted in a square or soft rectangular shape in high-quality handmade acetate with acetate temples, while the sunglasses range features an elegant square shape inspired by the iconic frames worn by Mrs Lauren. The party was great and there were a number of other celebs in attendance including Grace Woodward, Ophelia Lovibond, Stooshe, Thom Evans, Vanessa White and Zoe Hardman.

I also attended the Picasso to Warhol preview at the Fashion and Textile Museum. The exhibition runs from January 1 to May 17 and traces the history of 20th-century art in textiles.

The exhibition features examples of key European and American art movements: Fauvism, Cubism, Constructivism, Abstraction, Surrealism and Pop Art, as well as the work of leading fashion designers and manufacturers. With more than 200 rare pieces, many of which have not been on public display before.

Brand of the week: Breaks London

I came across this brand during Fashion Week last year. It is a very young company that launched in 2010. Breaks is a truly distinctive brand with British style and understated class cursing through its seams. Look beyond the exquisite sharp tailoring and high-quality fabrics and you will see unusual modern twists. Each item is infused with edgy contemporary detailing and punk inspired materials. They have an amazing range of leather jackets, one of which I am wearing here.

Product of the week: Moroccan Oil

It's a great conditioner for hair. You can buy it here

Song of the week: Katy Perry - Dark Horse

My new project: Elite Models

I am excited to announce that I have joined Elite Model Management in their Special Bookings Division. I am really looking forward to working with them on a number of projects this year, in particular in conjunction with Serge DeNimes. View my online profile here

A special moment: Nicky’s Family

This week I was lucky enough to be invited to a rare UK screening of the Multi-Award-Winning film Nicky’s Family. Sir Nicholas Winton, sometimes called The British Schindler, saved almost 700 Jewish children from the Nazi death camps. A 29-year-old stockbroker, Winton exchanged his skiing holiday to a trip for Czechoslovakia where trouble was brewing. Having persuaded the British government to allow these children in, he raised money and organised Kindertransport to adoptive families in the UK.

The film documents the unexpected twists and turns he faced. It’s a deeply moving story, encouraging others to do good deeds. Sir Nicolas is 104 years old, and actually spoke at the screening. It was in conjunction with Holocaust Memorial Week in aid of Holocaust Survivors, and it was an absolute honour to be invited and included.
