For most people, the £30 contactless card limit is enough to get them through the day, whether they’re hopping on the tube or grabbing a bottle of wine at the off license.

Others used to spending a bit more might find the limit inconvenient, which is why a brand has launched a payment bracelet with a staggering contactless spending limit of £1 million.

The luxury arm candy is the brainchild of Swiss FinTech brand Armillion and is called the Armillion Adamantos.

Beyond the ability to make an enormous purchase with a single swipe, the bracelet is also designed to be compatible with your home security system and car keys - meaning you can use it to unlock your front door or car door too.

Wearable tech is getting more and more popular, with the likes of Prince Harry opting for an Oura smart ring and others relying on Apple watches.

While Armillion sells a number of sleek contactless payment bracelets online, this particular model is ultra-exclusive, with only ten available. The Adamantos is crafted from black high tech ceramic and detailed with 18k White Gold, as well 252 brilliant-cut diamonds that weigh 4.5ct in total.

According to Armillion, the word diamond actually comes from the word Adamantos - hence the bracelet’s name.

If you’re wondering whether or not the bracelet is safe, Armillion also claim it is supported by Mastercard with “bank-grade encryption” to ensure your million(s) stay safe. It can be used anywhere in the world and links to an app, where owners can set up their banking information. The bracelet is also water resistant and never needs to be plugged in for a charge, as it uses each scan to charge itself automatically.

If you like the look of the bracelet but you’re not sure about the £1 million spending limit, you can also lower it if £30. It also allows you to check your bank balance after you purchase your million-pound yacht.

As for how much the bracelet itself costs? It doesn’t quite cost £1 million, but it will still take a sizeable chunk out of your bank account. The Adamantos is priced at £62,880 and while it hasn’t officially launched on Armillion’s website, interested buyers can contact the brand directly to make an order.

Just make sure no-one steals it...
