Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny hard launch their relationship with Gucci campaign

Simply saying you’re dating is so passé in 2023. Leave it to Kendall Jenner to come up with the most fashionable way to say she’s in a relationship — without saying she’s in a relationship

How does the Kardashian-Jenner family’s resident mega model confirm a relationship? With a luxury fashion campaign, of course.

This weekend a new Gucci campaign for the brand’s luggage line Valigeria hit socials, which showed Kendall Jenner and her rumoured boyfriend, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, sharing some PDA. According to the brand, it “explores the intimacy of traveling together.”

The Nineties style airport-set shoot shows Jenner and Bad Bunny in several different jet-set couples’ looks. Clearly there’s no travel anxiety for these two, as they’re seen laughing and hugging in one shot wearing matching casual navy looks while Jenner sits atop a pile of Gucci Savoy logo luggage.

In another image which mimics a classic airport paparazzi shot, Jenner, 27, wears a heritage-style look of check blazer, chain logo mini and a white tank, while Bad Bunny, 29, dons a sporty sweater, jeans and a beanie as they walk, gazing downwards. Naturally there are matching sunnies and more Savoy luggage swung over their shoulders.

The new range includes some very chic neon takes on the classic Gucci styles, which pop nicely in a picture of Bunny on an escalator, and Jenner phubbing him while lounging in a waiting room. No couple is immune to tech distraction, clearly.

The pair were first linked in February after they were spotted out with Jenner’s bestie Hailey Bieber and her husband Justin. They’ve since attended basketball games and been seen jet-setting together for real on a trip to Idaho.

However, they have remained tight-lipped about their status. In an interview with Vanity Fair last month Bad Bunny said when asked about his relationship to Kendall: “I’m not really interested in clarifying anything, because I have no commitment to clarify anything to anyone. I am clear and my friend Jomar … and my mother is clear. They are the only ones to whom I have to clarify anything.”

The couple have been leaving breadcrumbs of an upcoming Gucci gig for a few weeks now. Bad Bunny has been toting pieces of the same Gucci range luggage around while out with Kendall, and the pair attended Gucci’s spring/summer 2024 show together at this month’s fashion week in Milan. Naturally they wore the same matching sunnies for the occasion.

Further fuelling speculation, Bad Bunny teased fans with a song named ‘Un Preview’ about a cowgirl he’s fallen in love with. She might hail from LA, but Jenner’s obsession with horses is very well documented.

For now, these two are making the public side of their relationship more work than play, but perhaps the new series of The Kardashians currently airing on Disney will reveal a more casual glimpse of their connection. Fingers crossed they fully confirm their romance with a double date with Kylie Jenner and new man Timothée Chalamet.
