A range of t-shirts designed to support the Evening Standard's Dispossessed Fund went on sale in the capital today. Part of a collaboration with luxury retailer Matches who enlisted some of the biggest names in British fashion to support our charity which seeks to help those living in poverty in the city, the collection is now available at Matches boutiques across London - as well as on its online store.
The highly anticipated range, endorsed by British Vogue, includes t-shirts designed by Jonathan Saunders, Roksanda Ilincic, Mary Katrantzou, Erdem and Richard Nicoll and has delighted fashion fans who jumped at the chance to get their hands on a limited edition, designer garment for just £60.
The t-shirts are expected to sell out within days and form part of a Olympic-inspired window display which was installed at Matches stores this morning.
All profits from sales will be donated to the Dispossessed Fund which has raised £8.4 million for those living in poverty in the capital since it began fundraising a year ago.
The fund has contributed to a total of 568 groups and distributed £3 million to charitable and community-led projects in every borough across London. Launched as a reaction to a series on poverty which featured in the Evening Standard last year, the campaign was met with an unprecedented response from our readers who donated from their pocket money and pensions to help Londoners living below the poverty line.
