Musician, mother and fashion icon, Beyoncé is one of the most well-respected celebrities of her generation.

Since arriving on the scene as one quarter - later to be promoted to one third - of Destiny's Child, Beyoncé's sartorial evolution has been impressive.

Known - and loved - for their matching ensembles, Destiny's Child made multiple appearances in diamante bikinis, 70s-inspired swirling two-pieces and several sheer numbers before Beyoncé broke away from the group to go solo in 2002.

Becoming more high fashion since going it alone, the superstar singer regularly calls on the likes of Givenchy, Versace and Roberto Cavalli to dress her for big events while favouring Gucci for every day.

One of her boldest outfits so far came in the form of a pale peach latex gown by Riccardo Tisco for Givenchy. Worn to the 2016 Met Gala, the look was decorated with 100-carats of Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Wearing the designer for every Met Ball since 2012, Beyoncé is regularly one of the most-anticipated arrivals thanks to her no-holds-barred attitude to dressing for the event.
