Alexa Chung will make her debut on the official show schedule at London Fashion Week in September for the first time.

Launched in May 2017, the ALEXACHUNG brand aesthetic draws on the model, muse and journalist’s own idiosyncratic sense of style and takes inspiration from muses Jane Birkin, Brian Jones, David Hockney and David Bowie.

“Music has had a huge influence on my work as have my friends,” says Chung, who has, to date, unveiled her collections with small-scale parties and intimate presentations, using the see-now-buy-now model. Joining the schedule for the first time signifies that Chung has officially been accepted by the fashion establishment.

Alexa Chung will present her Spring/ Summer 2019 collection on the second day of fashion week, at 11am on Sunday 15th September.

Other highlights of the schedule will be Victoria Beckham's show, which will move this season from New York, and also Riccardo Tisci's much-anticipated first collection for British brand Burberry.
