Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez showed support for the Black Lives Matter movement by joining a peaceful protest in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The couple, who were equipped with large signs saying 'Black Lives Matter, Enough Is Enough' and 'Let’s Get Loud For Black Lives Matter,' were seen demonstrating in the crowds.

Protests around the world have been taking place since May 26th to demand an end to racial injustice and police brutality in the wake of George Floyd’s wrongful death in police custody on May 25th.

Lopez revealed her 12-year old twins Esme and Max, who she shares with ex-husband Mark Anthony, made the signs for her and Rodriguez.

On Instagram, J.Lo shared that her son Max convinced her and Rodriguez to get out, saying “you know mom, since you have a following like some of my YouTuber gamers and they ask us to support things and we do, you should do that for George Floyd.”

She then asked if he and his sister would be willing to help make her signs.

J.Lo also shared that they “talked about how if one person doesn’t have justice then no one does. That this country was built on the belief of freedom and justice for all. We must take a stand for what we believe in and fight against the injustices in this world. So we continue to peacefully protest until there is change.”

Rodriguez also shared a post on his Instagram account of himself and J.Lo holding their signs as well as videos from the protest.

He wrote a moving caption on his post about the "senseless" killing of George Floyd how he and fellow marchers were demonstrating for "peace, equality and humanity."

Rodriguez also shared what the protests meant to him, writing, "Los Angeles, we are proud to join you in peaceful protest tonight. We are proud to walk alongside you, and to share in spreading such an important message. Thank you for speaking up. Thank you for continuing to fight the good fight. Thank for you using your voices for good."
