Brad Pitt, 58, has been ‘linked’ with 29-year-old Ines de Ramon, tabloid speak for “they’re probably dating”.

Apparently he took her to see Bono in concert — if there’s a sentence which screams “I’m dating a Hollywood elder” more than that one I’ve yet to hear it.

Anyway, clearly Brad is attractive to the point of glaring — I would imagine that, like the sun, it’s inadvisable to look directly at him for fear of being blinded. But even the mega-hot get old — and that age gap is quite something. When she was starting primary school he was 36.

I know it follows a time honoured tradition of Hollywood men dating way below their age bracket but it’s gross. There I said it. It’s gross and it makes me feel icky.

And while — I’m only human — I would absolutely sleep with Brad (with sunglasses on), I would then throw him back into the romantic sea like that one legendary catfish because Hollywood men need to learn to be with people their own age — and he’s older than my mum (and probably Ines’ mum).
