Here’s a more serious skincare addition to Cowshed’s established range of lotions and body washes — a serum formulated to work as you sleep. I used this for four weeks during a period of rampant insomnia. The serum fulfilled some of its obligations even though I failed to provide the ‘sleep’ part of proceedings.
This nighttime serum is designed to target loss of radiance, fine lines, pigmentation and dry skin. My main concerns are the first two issues and the most noticeable difference for me was an improved smoothness and radiance across my face, but especially on my cheeks. Ingredients including green tea, rosehip and vitamin C extracts, including some complex anti-ageing lipids, do the hard work here.
Overall this serum is nice and light and smells of almonds and using it became a blissful little pre-bedtime ritual. You can also use it on your neck and décolleté, which I didn’t realise as I never read instructions properly, but my mishap will have worked out for you if you buy the serum, as I’m now making a point of telling you to how to use this properly. Use it on your neck and décolleté as well as your face and let me know how it worked out for you!
