What would you eat for your last supper?

I would ask Heston Blumenthal to recreate my favourite dishes from childhood, like the Screwball ice cream, which has a ball of chewing gum in the bottom.

What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?

You’re taking yourself too seriously. Stop it, and go and chase some boys.

What keeps you awake in the middle of the night?

Wondering what I’m doing with my life, in an existential way, the London traffic and the incessant beep of my phone.

When have you felt at your sexiest?

Up a tree, wearing a hoodie, in my early twenties. I climbed up to impress a boy.

Is there a book that changed the way you thought about things?

Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird. I started to spot the Boo Radleys in my neighbourhood.

Who do you want to apologise to?

Every director I’ve ever worked with, for not being better.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Custard creams and Amaretto sours. Together.

What has been your greatest mistake?

A homemade bum bag, which I wore to school when I was eight.

Who would play you in the film of your life?

Jennifer Lawrence. I think she would capture the huge amount of embarrassing yet funny situations I found myself in as a child.

What did you buy with your first earnings?

Freedom from student debt.

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?

Without a doubt, the remake of The Prisoner.

What’s your life philosophy?

‘Figure it out for yourself.’

Do you have any secret tattoos?

I have a fleur de lys on my wrist that I got in New Orleans; the meaning is a secret.

What’s your karaoke song?

‘Black Velvet’ by Alannah Myles.
