Widower's benefit for Macmillan 'angels'

12 April 2012

A bereaved husband is putting on a concert tonight to complete an unfulfilled promise to his wife who died of cancer last year.

Clairvoyant Liam Scott, 75, promised his wife Anne, who died aged 64, that he would thank Macmillan Cancer Support with a charity gig.

The benefit, at Bloomsbury Theatre, will include performances from Mr Scott himself.

Mr Scott, of Bounds Green, said: "I'm doing this for Macmillan nurses because they are angels."

For tickets call Bloomsbury Theatre on 020 7388 8822.
