Snow White's makeover from Westwood, Gaultier and Armani

12 April 2012

Leading fashion designers are to join forces to create the costumes for a new pantomime in aid of charity.

Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier, Armani, Pucci, Amanda Wakeley, Tomasz Starzewski and Bruce Oldfield will collaborate on Snow White And The Seven Designers.

Furniture designer Tim Gosling, one of the fashion and design figures behind the fund-raiser for Dementia UK, said the event built on previous charity pantomimes organised by interior designers. This year's six performances will be the biggest to date.

"We have really upped the ante," said Gosling, who will be taking a part in the show at the Garrick Theatre.

The show will run from October 12 to 16 because of the designers' schedules.
