Michael Fish returns on Great Storm anniversary

Michael Fish is to present the weather on the 22nd anniversary of the day he failed to predict the Great Storm.

The veteran presenter, who made the gaffe on the BBC in 1987, will join GMTV's weather girl Kirsty McCabe temporarily from Monday.

Fish, 65, told viewers a woman had rung in to find out if a hurricane was approaching, but he said: "Don't worry, there isn't."
