Men in court over Heathrow heist

Seven men appeared at the Old Bailey today charged with a £1.75 million heist at Heathrow Airport.

They were remanded to face trial on January 17 next year, charged with conspiracy to rob Menzies World Cargo.

Brian Wake, 58, of Chertsey, Surrey, David Redmond, 43, of Iver Heath, Bucks, and Roy Davis, 37, of Harlesden, north west London, were remanded on bail.

Lloyd Govus, 36, Richard Betts, 39, both of Iver, Bucks, Adam Joyce, 38, of Reading, Berks, and John Twomey, 55, of New Milton, Hants, were remanded in custody.
