Man on trial accused of making 'terrorists' handbook'

A man is to stand trial today for allegedly making a terrorists' handbook using information from an al Qaida training manual.

Terence Brown, 46, of Whitworth Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire, faces seven counts of collecting information that could have been used to prepare or commit acts of terrorism.

He is also charged with two charges of dissemination of a terrorist publication and another count of transferring criminal property.

The trial for the charges under the Terrorism Act is due to be heard at Winchester Crown Court.
