How to get good and bad luck

13 April 2012
Good luck

Finding a pin with its head towards you. But if it is crooked, a woman who picks it up will die an old maid.

The hangman's rope, especially the knot. Can also cure headache, epilepsy and poor eyesight.

A mole under the left arm means you will be wealthy, one on the back of the neck means you will be beautiful, or will die by hanging.

Putting clothes on inside out by accident, as long as the mistake is not rectified.

A frog coming into the home is a sign of an imminent marriage.

Bad luck

Pulling a drowning man or body from the waves - the sea will take the rescuer.

Putting new shoes on a table, unless you spit on the soles.

Meeting a cross-eyed person in the morning.

An uncovered mirror when there is a death in the family will show the dead person.

Pigeons landing near a home herald a death. Their feathers in a bed prevent an easy end.
