First review: iPod Nano 4gb version lacks definition

iPod nano 4gb: not the revolution fans were hoping for

iPod Nano
4gb version, £115

The new nano from Apple is most definitely an evolution rather than a revolution.

It adds a video camera (oddly it can't take still photos), FM radio and a pedometer.

All worthy additions, and the video camera in particular works well - although while the video quality is good, it is definitely not high definition.

The FM radio is also impressive, allowing listeners to pause live radio, and there's a neat tagging feature to identify and buy songs that are broadcast.

The unit itself is stunning, and the new aluminium colours make this arguably the best looking MP3 player on the market.

Sound quality is superb, but overall this is an upgrade.

If you were considering a nano anyway, it's highly recommended.

However, this definitely isn't the revolution Apple fans were hoping for.
