Ex-Chelsea player guilty of attack on former lover

A former Chelsea footballer and his sister who beat up his ex-girlfriend have both walked free from court.

Lee Sawyer, 21, who recently signed for Southend United, and his sister Hayley went to the victim's house and attacked her in the hall while children were at home.

The brother and sister, from Loughton, Essex, were both convicted of battery and received suspended sentences at Harlow magistrates' court.
