Ecstasy 'could help stress'

Ecstasy could be used as medication for people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Scientists think the drug, blamed for 64 deaths in the UK last year, may help victims of serious crime to express deeper emotions.

The American Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies is running a trial as the first stage in a bid to develop the drug into a prescription medicine.
