Driver hits 125mph on busy motorway - and shows the film on YouTube

Danger: Traffic was shown swerving aside on the YouTube motorway film. File picture

A three-minute video on the YouTube website shows him hurtling down the outside lane of the M23 in Sussex, forcing other motorists to swerve out of his way.

The driver then reveals his speedometer reading.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "This will be considered for investigation. It was a stupid thing to do."

A YouTube spokesman said: "Footage of people driving fast in cars is commonplace on television, whether in real-life programmes or dramas and films. So this sort of content is not only found on the internet.

"But if there is illegal activity taking place then we encourage the police to get in touch."
