Dec's pain at love split

Declan Donnelly, one of the hosts of I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!, today spoke for the first time about the painful separation from his girlfriend of 11 years.

The presenter said he would remain single "for the time being" after his relationship with Clare Buckfield ended.

"It was painful, but we both felt it was for the best to go our separate ways," he said.

Donnelly, 28, set to host a new series of ITV's Saturday Night Takeaway with Ant McPartlin, blamed the split on the couple's busy workloads.
