Briton missing in New Zealand

A hunt for a missing British woman and her friend who vanished in their helicopter in New Zealand ended in failure today.

Hannah Timings, 28, from Cheltenham, and Campbell Montgomerry, 27, from New Zealand, disappeared early on Saturday while flying across the remote Fiordland region of mountains, forests and fjords.

Five helicopters have been scouring the area. Ms Timings's parents Philip and Philippa were today expected to fly to New Zealand.
