Biggs asks court to free him

Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs's lawyers are today launching a High Court legal bid to win his release.

The robber has suffered two strokes and has facial paralysis which has left him unable to speak or eat. Biggs marked his 75th birthday at Belmarsh prison in south-east London yesterday.
