Artist's works on sale to aid 'fix it' charity

12 April 2012

Teenage Daniel Barnett's dying wish was to have his art on show at Christie's in South Kensington - and his dream came true.

Now a second, posthumous, exhibition will take place there for a week starting tomorrow as his family sell his works to raise money for Wembley-based charity Rays of Sunshine, behind the first show. About a dozen paintings will be on view, with more available online.

His mother Diane said of her son: "He was so proud when he saw his work on display." Daniel died two months later, in May last year, aged 19, after a battle with cancer and kidney failure.
