£1.25m book deal for Cowell

Pop Idol's Simon Cowell has signed a £1.25million deal for a book about the US version of the hit TV show.
The blunt talent judge has reached an agreement with publisher Random House.
The deal comes after he agreed a deal with Fox Television to return for a third edition of American Idol in January and two additional instalments reportedly for £94,000 each.
