Crowds of fans gathered to see Jennifer Aniston and husband, Brad Pitt, as they took to the red carpet at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles for the world premiere of her latest film, Along Came Polly.

The film, which also stars Ben Stiller, is a romantic comedy about the need to take risks in love. Aniston stars as Polly Prince, a free-spirit who turns the life of her childhood friend Reuben (Stiller) upside down after he is dumped on his honeymoon by his new wife Lisa (Debra Messing).

Supporting cast members include Will and Grace's Debra Messing, as Reuben's wife Lisa and Alec Baldwin as Reuben's boss.

Aniston, who is busy filming the final series of the hit US sitcom Friends, looked radiant in a black satin dress and smiled for photographers outside the theatre, but refused to answer questions on whether she would be starting a family once the show had wrapped.

Brad Pitt, Hollywood's latest leading man to take on a 'swords and sandals' epic, playing Achilles in the upcoming film Troy, had shaved his flowing Greecian locks to a crew cut and was content to let his wife take centre stage for the night.

Along Came Polly opens in the UK on 27 February.
