Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has worried fans by suggesting he has not been offered a new contract.

The skipper is key to Mikel Arteta's plans after scoring 29 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions last season, including two in the FA Cup Final.

However, during an Instagram Live with brother Willy, Aubameyang said: "Everyone is showing the pen and paper but I still don't have the papers, bruv!"

Aubameyang concluded the broadcast by adding: "Have a good night, enjoy and hopefully great news for everybody."

Meanwhile, former Gunners player Ray Parlour believes it may take £350,000 a week to persuade Aubameyang to stay due to Mesut Ozil's record wage.

He said: "The problem is we've got Ozil sitting on £350,000-a-week and Aubameyang's going to say 'I want the same'.

"His representatives can say 'wait a minute, there's a player out there who is not even playing so we want 350 a week'."
